David Kracov’s passion for children and the desire to never lose that youthful curiosity has given David inspiration to create sculptures that help save the lives of children throughout the world. From the children’s wards of hospitals, to charity organizations that help to better a child’s life, David uses his art to help make the world that much brighter.

Chabad’s Children Of Chernobyl Children At Heart 2010

Me_and_Whoopi_2010Chabad’s Children Of Chernobyl again looked to David’s art for inspiration for their 2010 “Children At Heart” event, “Dreams Take Flight”. David created awards presented to the evening’s honorees, including Academy Award winning actress Whoopi Goldberg and Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg.

Chabad’s Children of ChernobylThrough the inspiration of David’s art and butterflies, Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl event of 2009 featured a theme of “New Beginnings”. David created the awards given to honorees of the evening, including Academy Award winning actor Matt Damon.

David & Whoopi Goldberg

David Kracov and Whoopi Goldberg collaborated to create sculptures, where the proceeds from the sales of these sculptures would be donated to “Toys For Tots” of New Orleans. Proceeds from the sales of these sculptures where used to purchase toys for children devastated by the events of the New Orleans floods.

LEIGH ADLER’S 89TH BIRTHDAY

Leigh Adler’s 89th Birthday

David Kracov was a guest of Leigh Adler’s (Steven Spielberg’s mother) 89th birthday celebration. During the event, David had the entire Spielberg family design and paint their own butterflies as part of a sculpture David created, to be presented as a gift to Leigh, that would be from the entire family.
